Eighteen years as an IT professional within
various fields - software/engineering (Netscape, Persistence Software, Apple), health care (Caminar), power industry (Electric Power & Research Institute),
retail (Computer Attic, Radio Shack), and government (NASA).
Providing
strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, I've successfully
implemented cross-training of staff to handle tasks not normally expected in
their positions. Saving 3 hours a week for each technician, reducing vendor
cost by $20 k annually, building confidence, and morale from within the staff.
I've managed successful operations while
improving productivity. Working closely with top management, I've help increase customer satisfaction, and built self sustaining teams.
I've developed a new system for the Desktop
Support environment, utilizing consultants and vendors, users/customers and
technicians to increase response times, reduce workload, and reduce costs.
By overhauling ineffective methods,
and replacing them with efficient systems, I have been able to solidify the
infrastructure, reduce costs, increase morale, and coaching a winning team.
In the
process I have met and/or exceeded most organizational needs.

over 72 different vendors, (50 vendors regularly).

Certified Professional - Aug, 2003 (MCP - Windows 2000 Server, Desktop, Design),
with experience in Unix and Linux (5 years collectively), and Cisco (SMBS
certified)
